Located west and south of Elizabethtown, in northwest Lancaster County, West Donegal Township has approximately 9,000 residents and covers an area of 15.6 square miles. For more information about the Township click here. ROAD CLOSURE NOTICEMiller Road will be closed to through traffic between Stonemill Drive and West Ridge Road on Thursday, June 6th. This closure is required by ERSA as part of their on-going Miller Road pump station upgrade project.This closure is planned for one day but could be extended depending on weather and job site conditions. All dates are WEATHER AND PROJECT CONDITION DEPENDENT and ARE subject to change WITHOUT NOTICE. Residents living on this section of Miller Road, Police, Fire, EMS, and trash haulers will be able to access all properties on the closed section of roadway from either Stonemill Drive or West Ridge Road. Through traffic will not be possible during the closure If your daily travels take you through this section of roadway, you will be required to find an alternate route. Happening This Week and BeyondThe weekly deadline for the purchase of red tags for oversized item disposal is Thursday, May 30th, for items to be picked up with your regular trash during the following week. Disposal of an oversized item requires a red tag which are $4 each and can only be purchased at the township office, Mon-Fri from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm each day This week
